That a relationship is an experiment to see if we love them, yes? Afterwhich we feel love should be sealed with a rubber stamp on a legal document and a big church wedding? So we seek relationships to try and find love and marriage... Where do the children come into it... doesn't love and marriage usually entail children? That is the original ideal of most marriages right? Of course, in a modern age, it is now to a lesser extent, with spiritual bondings instead of bindings before God. But still, I think a religious ideal of love marriage and children exists in society, no doubt about it. I would have to agree with you that a less permanent bond is probably more suitable and flexible to our modern day society .
