Yeah there are loads of trucks you can rent here. Go near the race course round about you will see alot of trucks parked across the road from the petrol station. The drivers will be either crouching down near the trucks or sitting not far from them. You can go and ask them how much they will charge to hire them for X amount of hours. You can negotiate price with them. You may though have problems with English as most speak only Arabic...but there's nothing wrong with the great hand gestures...your message will get through.
