I made them a counter offer and will accept whatever they offer. Hospitality just doesn't pay well in general; suppose ME is extreme tho.

I'm looking at it as an invesment in my career.
Finding a job in my field/experience-level with a market-leader is incredibly difficult at the momemt. ME is one of the very few regions that has economic growth.

My aim is to transfer out within a year.
