Oryx made several valid points. Please do not think that we are out to frighten you. Most of us here are older than you, and have come here with our families / husband / wives etc. As people have mentioned above Qatar is great to come and visit for a holiday, but not as a first time work experience. And it's true, you will not learn arabic here unless you attend a classroom (which is expensive).

Cabin crew with an airline is interesting if you want to see the world and meet new cultures, but do not be fooled into thinking you will have much time off for 'sightseeing'.

What Knoxcollege said, sounds very scary; and I'm sure he did not mean to make it sound that harsh. But his words are true. You must be careful here as a single, young female. This applies to everywhere in the world, but if something happens to you here and you do not have family to help you, you risk too much.

Good Luck on your future.
