I passed my test with United Driving School, which is off Salwa Rd behind the Thursday / Friday Souq, they were very good. I passed first time however I had experience of driving before. There is a waiting list, therefore as I was in a rush I took the 5am spot and started the following day.

I think it cost around 2000QR for half a course, but I don’t think it is much more for a full course, you also have to pay 50QR for your test, as long as you don’t fail 1 of the 4 separate tests you don’t have to pay for them individually.
