Where will you be working? My best advice is to live as close as possible to work. The traffic here is absolutely horrible. As for the Pearl, definitely not if you are coming soon. Well, really it isn't even an option as not one person lives there yet. It is not finished and severely behind schedule.
With a 6 year old I would suggest a compound so they will have friends close by, can ride a bike etc. check the classifieds section for availabilities and then do a search and you will see what others suggest. Good luck.
