I am not someone, who supports what is happening in Qatar in terms of liberty of women and Employees.
but labelling onself "I am a Western woman" and expecting to do what you have been doing in Western world ... is also not a right thing.
You will not be allowed to stay with yoiur boyfriend, to kiss him in public, to drink & drive, to go alone in a Pub, roamign around a boxer shorts in a supermarkt ....etc.etc..... if you think these are the great things one "western" woman should do.
There are lots of westerners in Qatar who enjoy their life in a low profile mannaer and also in their own gathering may be in high profile. They came here for business or employment. When they get good money, they dont complain about the curtailment of freedom, but try to adopt with the culture of the country.
