You can apply for a temporary license at Madinat Khalifa police station. For this you need to make an application form and get it signed from your sponsor/authorized signatury of the company that gives you business visa, they will issue you temp license valid till your visa validity, for QAR 150/- when you extend visa you has to take your passport there and you will get extension of license till your extended validity, each time you has to pay QAR 150/-
