Please consider a mixed breed. A lot of pure breds in this country are interbred by people who are only after money. I'm not saying all people are like this - but I have witnessed time and time again deformed puppies with behavioural issues due to interbreeding.
Mixed breeds are fantastic pets and are far more deserving of a home. All the dogs at QAWS are health checked and temperment tested before being rehomed. Buying a purebred puppy gives you no extra guarentees - some breeders will lie just to get your money or simply don't know what they're talking about.
Why not come to the shelter and see what we have and give one of them a chance. Some of our dogs are stunning looking and we will be able to tell you who will be great in certain situations ie. apartments / families with babies / living with other pets etc.
