I guess you should give the guy a break! May be Cute-Guy has been living outside Lebanon for too long that he got mixed up about more than 90% of those facts. I suggest to start reading about other countries, you'll be surprised of what you can find out about them!
I think people who want to know facts about a certain country would search in a proper place, so not to get confused with false facts.
