12500 for a family of 2 plus 2 kids should barely make both ends meet. the accomodation is very expensive at the moment and it will stay so for two more years as per the foreign minister. so ask your company to give you QR 10000 plus a house and ask them to pay for your kids schooling. you would probably save this then getting 12500 as a wholesome package.

the minimum price for a small flat i.e. one bedroom and one kitchen and a bath (studio apartment) is atleast 4000Q.R. add electricity, gas, water, car should be one thousand more. add food should be at least 2000 more. and if yous kids go to school it should be atleast 1000 more. so all this comes to 8000.
you would probably save 3000 Q.R. every month. if you live very very modestly and humbly. so go for my suggestion ask for a flat. good luck in negotiaions
