I completely agree with you. That is why I've never had an african grey. They are amazing birds, and should be free. Sadly people like the one selling above don't care about animals, they just see them as a quick profit (as Poppy noted). Sad reality, is that if people continue to buy these animals, more people (like the one above) will take advantage and breed them. Hand reared greys lack the necessary survival skills to live in the wild unless the are re-habilitated, and therefore will suffer on there own as they don't know the inherent dangers that they would normally learn from their parents.
That is why I do not condone selling animals....full stop!
Alicia, go elsewhere. You should think before breeding animals. Don't you care at all about these birds that you have helped to bring into this world? Why are you just interested in making quick money? With all the homeless animals that need homes, you just add to the problem.
