I'm against death penalty, who are we to decide who gets to live and who gets to die ? It's not our decision to make. Besides, even if the criminal has done so many awful things, killing him wouldn't be the ultimate punishment, putting him in jail for the rest of his life would.

As for abortion, I'm not against it, in some situations like the one Gypsy mentioned, it's better not to have a child in the first place than to have him and then abandon him.

Oh and starlight, a fetus doesn't develop from the minute of fertilization, a fetus only develops and has a beating heart after about 4 months of fertilization. So before 4 months, it's not really considered a human being. I think if abortion is to take place, it should happen before 4 months otherwise it would be considered murder.
