What kind of HD do you have? If you bought the encloser and the HD separately then you might need to change the encloser in case your HD is not spinning. Check the power led indicator, if there is none just replace that encloser and good luck.

Otherwise, hmmmm if you replace, it start working but can't be detected then PM me. There is a software that can detect those even if it does not show on your windows.
