shame on those of you who posted harsh comments. Seeker is obviously in dire straights and has posted here hoping to get some advice. To those of you who posted good advice, well done.
I don't know how things work here in Qatar - back home in England I know places that will offer free advice. Perhaps there are internet-based equivelents. There’s certainly written advice on various websites (even if its not specific to Doha).
Seeker, you should approach your embassy and see if they can direct you to somebody willing to provide an hours free legal advice, or somebody who can provide debt-consolidation advice.
If you send me a private message telling me what your job skills are, I'll see if I know of any suitable role.
On another note, I was chatting to friends last night and they said that somebody here in Doha got made redundant. They managed to get a letter from their former employer confirming this. The debtors were willing to wipe the debt because of this. I can't advise you any further on this, but again, take it up with your embassy. Good luck
