The newsreader sounds totally unrehearsed. If English is your second language -- or even if it's your first, tbh -- it's essential to read through and mark up your script. Her emphasis and intonation was all over the place, plus she stumbled over too many words.
She doesn't project her voice properly, so it sounds too light, doesn't sound authoritative enough. And she does some of that Australian style upspeak, which makes it sound like a question or makes it sound too light. She read a story about the deaths of US soldiers as if it was an "And finally..."
The quality could be improved dramatically with marking up the script for emphasis and intonation, a rehearsal of script so she doesn't stumble over words, and some breathing exercises coupled with using her voice properly, i.e. learning to speak from her diaphragm and not from her throat.
