I don't pay more than QAR 150/- per month on petrol for my car... yeh it's not a 4WD, but I'm guessing not more than QAR300/- for petrol/ month... any car... and yeh, I'm clocking approx 1000KMS/ month, if not more.
Second hand cars are available everywhere... and they have excellent workshops that do the computerized car check for like QAR100. And as mentioned in the previous post, car loans - easily available.
Busses - very unreliable
