first go to www.freedom.com
its the qtel bot page.
there you enter your gsm phone model
then later your telephone number.
qatar starts with +974 ??? ????
this will send you the settings to connect to the Internet.
takes a couple of seconds to come.
if you want to enter the settings manually go to www.qtel.com.qa
select english if you dont have arabic then you have to look around 'cause I don't remember.
if you want to connect another software inside the phone
remember to set the proxy settings right.
when dialling from the laptop via the GSM phone you use *99# or *90# I don't remember well. don't forget to set the connection setting FROM THE LAPTOP SIDE to the same proxy setting of the phone. for windows thats right click properties on the connection setting.
