Yup, I got the same "low and slow" US license as you do. There is a Qatar Aviation Academy, I don't know if they rent out single-engine aircraft. Qatar would be a beautiful place for flying, but not landing (no airports except military and DOH.) And you DON'T want to get into Saudi or Iranian airspace!
