Another hidden place that is nicknamed the "Christmas Souq" is Naaz store. It is usually a stationery store, but at Christmas time is transformed. They have everything from lights, trees, tinsel, ornaments, even large Santas that dance and sing. And all at great prices. Better quality stuff than Dream Shopping Center, but not as expensive as the mall places. From Ramada Junction go over the Jaidah flyover, turn left at the 2nd light. The store is down on your right. It is the same street that the Indian junk shop is on.
