I would suggest Ramada Plaza.They have free internet connection and loads of cusine based restaurants.Their internet connectivuty is also not blocled by Qtel(as u are single u might want this info):-)..at walking distance to Ramada there are loads of restaurants ,takeaways,cofee shops and a shopping mall.Jarir Bookstore is also very near and it is in a nutshell the most crowded and happening(i have used this word very loosely) place in Doha.
