Well I check the dimensions of your Avatar and i guess it a lot larger than the allowed dimensions for an Avatar. The dimensions were 50×50 while your Avatar's dimensions were 286×377. The type of the avatar was also GIF and I don't know if it is another problem or not. Try resizing, converting the type and size of your Avatar using 'Photo Shop' or 'Microsoft Office Picture Manager' if you have Office 2003, then try to upload it again.
