Greetings.

As soon as an accident takes place, make sure that no one in your vehicle is hurt. Call 999 as soon as possible to report the incident, it doesn't take much time for the police to arrive at the scene. Talk to the other party involved and try to relocate your cars at the nearest and safest area, so as not to cause any blockage to other commuters. And get each others mobile phone numbers and car license plates.

If in case a person is severely hurt, inform the police and they will send in an ambulance. But do not move your cars.

Upon arrival of the police, they will try to make a quick investigation of the event, and will ask you to proceed to the nearest police station. Usually they bring in the parties involved directly to the Traffic Police Station (Muroor) in Madinat Khalifa.

They will make their judgment upon the presentation of both parties and will determine who is at fault. It is then the insurance company of the person at fault which will have to pay for the damages.

The beneficiary of the insurance company will have to secure the police report. File it at the company and get the car fixed.

I hope this helps you.
