I agree with both statements above. 7,500 is not enough for housing allowance. You should ideally be between 10,000 and 17,000, depending upon what kind of accomodation you are looking for and it's location and proximity to work, schools etc.

It took my husband 3 months to find a decent villa at a 'decent' price.
