I live a just little farther west of Lulu's. The area is fine. There is substantially more traffic than other areas of town, but that's life. I think it's a fine area - close to shops, it's nice to be so close to the airport (and not have any noise from the planes), and yes, safe and well kept up. Welcome to Doha!
