Nadia

Salam Alaikum sis.

Well, I would tend to lean towards the assumption that the HR dept at AJI is wet behind the ears and are not as organized as they should be.

this is my story.. lol
I initially submitted my application through their HRjobs email. I usually follow up with HR when I send my applications via email just to ensure that that they had received it and all was well. After getting in touch with them, they informed me that they would get back to me to verify that it had indeed been sent. Well.. they never called back and when I tried again the next day, they were less than friendly and so I demanded that they give me the name of the department responsible for hiring. They didn't so I went down to the AJ.net office, who were much more accommodating and eventually gave me the the editor in chief contact. Thing is, I would call and call and there would be no answer, so I left him a message. Then I Googled his name, got his personal email and sent my application through that. He then returned my call and verified with me that he had indeed received my application and that he 'liked' it. LOL

So after that I called back like a week later just to check up and he, at that stage informed me of the 2000 applications received.

Anyhows, Nadia and Sosaya, check your inboxes this afternoon. I will give you all the necessary contacts ok?
I dont want to give them out here on this forum for obvious reasons :)
