hey man,

I read ur response with much delight..
thank u for ur input, i truely appreciate it..

Before i start responding 2 u, let me try 2 get u to agree on something..

Look dude,

I m not trying ( in any way shape or form ), 2 have u convert or believe...

i m sure u r not trying 2 do that either..

so u must understand that we can agree to diagree , and thats just fine:)

u r happy doing ur thing, i m happy doing mine..

i know where u stand, u know where i stand...

so there comes a point after which the discussion isnt really going anywhere and thats just not good for anyone...:)

Having said that , let me try 2 quickly touch upon some of the inetersting points ur raised..

u said " I am afraid to say that your "evidence" really doesn't count. The direction that you walk around mecca being anticlockwise is a 50:50 thing regardless of the veracity of "everything in the universe" revolving in that direction.

It really wouldn't pass scientific method as acceptable and admitable evidence. Nor would it be evidence in a court of law.

Get me that kind of evidence and I have no problem admitting I'm wrong. I wouldn't waste your time though, religion has been trying to do that for a long time and has come up with nothing."

Fisrt of all, i didnt say the direction of my walk around the kaaba is the proof god exists ( its the kaaba man, Mekka is a city, it would take me a few days to walk around it lol)..

My proof is that all matter revolves, and it all revolves in the same form( ellipse) , and it all revolves in the same DIRECTION, ( anticlockwise)

the fact that a religious ritual ( ordered by god to be in this very exact manner ) happens to fall right into that " universal harmony" is but an ADDED PROOF, both that God exists, and that islam is a religion sent by that God...

That is AS SCIENTIFIC AS IT CAN GET, u cant possiblly deny the sheer IMPOSSIBILITY OF ALL MATTER HAVING JUST ALLIGNED ITSELF TO THAT SYSTEM BY MERE CHANCE....

and if u r willing 2 do that ( diregard the impossibility of that), then its like i told , u just dont want 2 see it this way, and thats fine...but we will never agree ...which is also fine:)

Ur article on the beleief of scientists was curious...

One statistic stood out ( for me )
45% didnt beleieve while 40% did in one survey!

closeely contested dont u think???? hehe

U never answered the following though,

*How did mohammad know how the human feoutus develops in the whoom?
*How did he know that when stars explode in outer space, they do so and look like a blossoming flower ( which was proved a 1000 years later with the use of highly sophisticated cameras and telescopes)
*How did he know that all living matter is made of water??

and mind u , the man was illitrate, didnt read!!

any how,

to make the long story short ( i had this discussion with atheist and agnostic egyptian friends of mine who were muslim born, so i know the drill:)

If u r happy in ur belief, and it makes u feel confident and capable of living a propsporous and MORAL life... so be it man, i m happy for u ....

No one is trying 2 strip u from ur right 2 believe in that, not even the quran..

The quran stipulates that whoever wants to disbelieve can do so, and face no harm on earth, its just the risk of what happens after death to them that could be troubleing:)

if thats a no issue for u , ( and obviouslly it isnt), then cool..fair enogh,

The quran says " u have ur religion, and i have mine"

Peace be with u and upon u always...

H.
