i dont think most scientists follow ur school of thought, if u have any statistics to back up ur claim , i would be more than happy if u share them with everyone..
claiming that scientists are politicised and therefore afriad to say they are atheisests is not the most brilliant line of arguing either..
in societies where politicians can recieve sympathy for being gays and lesbians,and the church is starting 2 allow for gay priests, i truely doubt with a a strong passion that saying u r an athiest harms ur chances at getting funding..
using ur same line of thinking...people who FUND science, should according 2 u be athiests as well ( at least most of em), and therfore should be more than sympatheic with their fellow atheiest scientists who are basically proving their own claims....
I would also like to point out that u r not alone in feeling relief about dieing in ur " belief"...
I too, and all believers in God have that very same relief...and are not scared ...
so in that respect, being an athiest doesnt exactlly give anyone an edge...:)
actually in comaprission, an athiest believes he will persih and be nothing after death, a believer believes he will go on to live an eternity of bliss with no pain or sorrow ever again...
i dont think it needs a genious to figure out which " belief" is more appealing ( if u will agree with me that u cant CONCLUSIVELLY prove that u will percish completely, and i cant prove that there is life after death, after all, its all a matter of what we choose 2 believe)...

Yes there IS ( in my openion ) AMPLE SCIENTIFIC PROOF that God exists..
i can see it, it convinces me ,
if u cant see it, or are not convinced, u have the right to your openion, but u can not in any way impose that on me and try to convince me that there is no scientific proof, cuz from where i stand and look at things, yes there is, it is ample, and it is very convincive...

When we study MATTER, all kinds of MATTER, ALL MATTER IN THE UNIVERSE DOES THE SAME THING...
Cells, molecules, stars, and planets...from the smallest plant and animal cell, to the hugest planet all move in the same way...in an orbit...an ellipse form orbit, and anti clock wise...
any one with a critical mind and scientific outlook can NOT POSSIBLLY DENY THAT THIS CAN NOT IN ANY WAY BE A COINCIDENCE...
Now when u r a believer, and u know this bit of science, and then go to mekka to circle the ka,aba, and find urself circling it ( bec God ordered it to be so ) , ALSO IN AN ELLIPSE FORM , AND ALSO ANTI CLOCK WISE, u cant but be left with a CERTAINITY, the there is a master mind for the universe, and that this master mind alligned the whole universe to move in unison and harmony...
and that is but 1 tiny example....

Also dude, i have evaluated both the quran and its history quite critically, and i still do till today...
Aparentlly however , u r not as open to the idea of recieving information as u are to trying to give it..

less than 24 hours later u send me this article saying that the quran was written decades after he died, and was written by jewish converts! :)

let me suggest to u that yemen was crawling with Jews at the time...

if u ask me, these edited scripts were an attempt to dilute the quran and make it fade away....
Also note that not the whole of arabia was on islam;s side, and some said they were when they werent, and those were tring hard to get things back to what they used to be bef islam
its easy to assume they would do anything they can, including trying to tamper with the quran and spoil its message to reach their ends....
I recommend u read " Moahammad, a prophet for our times" by Keren armestrong...she is a celebrated scholar of religion , an ex non who i believe has denounced any one single religion...
she is informative, resourcefull, and also one of the top SCIENTISTS AND SCHOLARS IN HER FIELD...
i believe u should take a look at her work..
i can also recomend her book " a history of god"
