First and foremost, due to the fact that these days the Traffic Rules in Qatar have been made much more strict than earlier, I would advise you to remove the tint before you go to apply for permission from Traffic Dept. Sometimes they check your car before this is approved and if they find that its already tinted without permission, they would penalise you for it with a fine plus points.
Secondly, even bachelors can apply to Tint their vehicle windows. I am a living proof of this, as I had been permitted on 3 of my cars to tint the windows in the past with Bachelor status. THE BEST way to get this sorted, shhhhhh.... a big but easy secret, just pay up about QR50/- Service Fee one of those Sudanese agents there at the Traffic Dept. (Madinat Khalifa area) and they'll do the needful for you. The additional fee for permission to Tint is only QR20/- btw.
Any further doubts, contact me and I'll guide you... Cheers!
