ur question is very intresting...

i have to say 1st that i m no scholar of islam and am no wher close to qualified to give conclusive openions on issues of jursiprudance...

all i can say is my openion...

in the case of children with no name, it was mentioned in the quran once or twice that if u know dont know someone's parents u treat them like " brothers / siters in religion"

i think for purposes of raising the kid up with some legal identity, they can simply make up a familly name for him...

u know how we sometimes give children compunded names ( more than one )

something 2 that effect...

ya3ni if the kid;s name is Mayan masalan,

u can call her in the records Mayan Ahmmad Mohammad...

the reason i say that is that i belive that a very big part of islam's view on this is that the child KNOWS that the people he/she is living with are not his/her biological parents ( bec it is his right to know)

may be he will want to go search for em when he grows up or something, who knows:)

in the movies they always do...:) hehe

u guys ( han and apple)

i think if gypsy doesnt revert to more polite language, we should just ignore her thoughts on this thread, she is too prejudiced and there is no point in talking 2 her if she is not willing to keep an open mind about whats being said to her..

what do u think ??

have a gr8 day u guys

:)

Bye
