Myself and wife used to hold film nights for the guys in my company, it is a good idea and a great way to socialise prior to the film itself (food and wine etc).
Quite willing to have people round (once we know them from the usual thursday Tyler nights), and the DVD collection is awesome with many Sci Fi items.
Qatari, how many people did you say were affiliated to QatarLiving? surely this is a great tool to advertise amongst ourselves if we find anything of interest.
I for one have only heard of events after the fact (plays and sports etc), heres a bit of advertising for a starter for ten - International Car Show at the International Exhibition Centre (behind the city centre mall) starting tomorrow I believe running through next week.
Also the national Qatar Rally is on Saturday but not sure of the circuit.
