If christ is god how could he have been crucified?
What does god mean in christianity?
What are the qualities attributed to god in christian point of veiw?
In islam god is the one and only....
He(sobhan alllah) has no wife or offspring...
He was not created for he is the ultimate creator of all........
He needs no-one but we obviously need him...........
He is described amoung other things as the merciful.
He does not sleep or eat or die......One cannot attribute human traits to him because of course he is not human.....but humans can somtimes have certain traits that are attributed to him(of course at a different level)
.i.e.He is THE merciful( the ultimate in that particular trait)
but humans can be merciful too(without the "THE")
In short the human mind has the capability to conjure images of what we know and have seen and experienced.....since we have not seen god....the concept is often hard to fathom...we can only identify with what we know......
