really, appreciate your time pope, but i got little confuse in what you wrote here:
"Jesus is the prophet. All prophecies are accomplished"
Do you mean Jesus is a prophet? (that's what we all Muslims believes in him) BUT you said the Bible claims that he is the God? Do you mean Jesus is like Moses? Or are you referring to this verse? (Deutoromy 18:18) The words of God to Moses(pbuh)
"I will raise them up a prophet from among their brethren,
like unto thee,
And I will put my words in his mouth;
And he shall speak unto them
All that I shall command him" (Holy Bible Deutoromy 18:18)
(Please note that it is derived from the Old Testament and we Muslims believe in 4 books w/ the final revealation is The Holy Qurán)
In this verse, we Muslims believe that it is referring to Mohammad(pbuh), which contradicts to the Christians belief as to referring to Jesus(pbuh). And Jesus(pbuh) himself never claimed to be a prophet alluded to. And even his disciples were of the same opinion. They looked to the second coming of Jesus(pbuh) for the fulfilment of the prophecy. So far it is undisputed that the first coming of Jesus was not the advent of the "prophet unto thee" and his second advent can hardly fulfil the words. (Please correct me if i'm wrong)
I learned something today again. That's great of you Pope.
"I am the way, the truth and the life"...(John 14:6)
These noble qualities are personified in me. Follow me! but...
"when he the spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth" (John 16:13)
Then you must follow him! But prejudices die hard, therefore we must work hard.
