By the sounds of it the Cat's and the rat poison are the least of your worries. What kind of a place am I moving too? I thought everything was suppose to be all new and shinny, but what you have decribed sounds more like cottage county. Besides, a lot of countries and many differn't people don't care about animals the way that some western countries do. In Canada it cost as much for my dog to groomed as it does for me to get a hair cut, and we go as often, that way when she is looking rough I know it is time to do something about my hair. I sent my friend his dog to him in Greece only for someone to poison it. My friend was devistated. I suspect they don't have the same care for animals there as we do here. You don't see many strays in Canada, cats or Dogs. I still haven't decided whether to bring my dog there or not!
