Yes, I am currently employed and I am in no hurry to move to Dubai.... We fall in the 15% tax (both federal and state) bracket here in the US due to family status.... Of course we also pay ~6.5% in social security and Medicare taxes on top but that. Even after paying all these taxes my disposible income is over $6000 per month. Based on what I am hearing (1.5 to 2.0 times US salary) my base salary should be at least US$9000/month ~ AED33000/month. Even at the current rate of over US$6000, it should be at least AED24000/month + benefits.
