Anyway here's a general answer to your question. Some fishes do show sexual differences such as the livebearing fishes like guppies, mollies, swordtails etc. But in general, there are 2 groups - showing monomorphic or dimorphic sexualism. Monomorphic means they all looked the same in appearance. Only the fish themselves can tell them apart or fish experts can tell by the venting technique by looking at the anus. Dimorphic fishes are easy to tell as both sexes have significant differences such as having different colorations, having different sexual organs, different in terms of size, finnages etc.
