Toefel is an american test to check your ability of english .. using the American Standards,,

IELTS is the same thing,, but using the British Standards.

Both Exams ( or one of them ) is required to enable you of move one step ahead..

Eg: Studying at universities.. , working in establishments with non arabic speakers... etc..

since Qatar Schools use the British System, You will find it easier to pass the IELTS than doing Toefl
