it will be launched in July maybe 9th July is the launch date, it will take sometime to reach Doha. Unofficially if it is unlocked than ur concern is right it will not have Qatar maps. However, Vodafone when it will launch, it will launch iphone in Qatar, it will be an official launch so that should have the Qatar maps. My suggestion wait for Vodafone to launch, that will be the best time to buy iphone.
