I bought a Jeep 3 years ago, in the emirates, and I had many problems with it. The rear differential started making an awful sound, and the front brake disks needed (first) machining and eventually replacing. The AC gave me problems at the end of the 3rd year, and I ran into some odd electrical problems.
Not sure if I had a bad one, or if it is Jeeps in the region, in general. I sold it though, as all my friends who had older Jeeps said getting them serviced after the warranty was VERY expensive.
I am renting at the moment, while I shop around, but I am thinking about the new KIA Sorrento, it seems really nice and far cheaper than similarly swank 4x4s. Anyone have one? Comments? I plan to be here for 5 years and would like to have a nice ride with a warranty that will cover me for as much of that as possible.
