wellcome MC. I wouldn't wear mini-skirts here, i think that you will understand imidiatelly that the people here are looking at you very intensively even if you wear normal clothes. The different, than the local, style is attracting their attention. Inside the malls you wont have any problem but if you want to walk around, lets say at the souqs area then you will understand what i mean. I have expierienced some events like some local people following me for a long time.Some times especially when they are more than one and they are following me with their car i feel scared as i havent understand that country yet and what can happent here. I would suggest you to be cautious at least in the beggining.
Now, generally, the cost of leaving here is cheaper than the European one but there are some contradictions for example although if you go to the supermarket you spent less money here than in europeen countries the rents are high. Actually they are higher than the rents in my country. I also have found that some electronic devices are cheaper here (although you can not search through a great variety).
