Rough, not exactly. But every day irritations like no water or fluctuating electricity and appliances blowing up of their own accord- but we have a nice tin roof over our heads and an interesting collection of moss growing on the inside of the walls. Picture a dutch girl in there and some things are bound to get on her nerves. Cameroon is the wettest and most corrupt country on earth. So it's a colorful life here.

It sounds like heaven, over there. My husband is bristling at the bit to finally buy a proper car instead of a toyota pick up perpetually dented and spattered in mud. So a tax free car sounds like a great thing! At least we have an ocean with waves in it and no sharks.

SO thanks for the heads up and I'll check out the internet on that town you mentioned. It sounds quaint and most interestingly of all PEACEFULL.
