There are many places in Doha when you can buy furniture. However, I don't think that you will find it to be as good a quality as it is in Canada. Odd colors and designs seem to be somewhat of a problem as well. Also finding a decent mattress for beds is a problem.

A lot of places you can rent totally furnished though if you didn't want the headache of searching yourself...Just make sure you check out the beds!

I think that your wife is out of luck for th tradional yard sales!
