The 'hole' is up the Salwa Road, and u take a right turn just after the large satelite dish on the left(30Kms perhaps out of doha). You're going to be heading towards the pylons on the right, although you will have to go along the right-turn road until you hit a cross road, then look for the old tumbledown house. (If you've taken the wrong right turning, you could find the house is east or west from where you met the junction, so drive for about 4/5 mins either way till you find it. Its only a one room affair, stands about 3 mts high, with broken down walls.
To the right of the house (away from Doha) there is a small bush about 6 foot tall... about 15 mtrs after the house, and there is a 'track' in front of the bush leading to the hole (500/700 mts away) which is now covered with a chicken wire fencing. Stay on the main tyre track.
If you don't have anyone to guide you, I'd suggest borrowing a GPS to get u home, as you can get lost in that area. Otherwise if you know how to read the sun and stars, and have plenty of food and water, you're OK. Your mobile should be well charged up, and carry a car charger with you.
Don't forget to check your tyres, and have plenty of petrol. Happy trails.
