Are these geckos poisonous?

My collegue told me two ways to get rid of 'em.
One way is to place egg shells around the room or spray insect killers like 'baygon spray' directed to its face. It'll become sort of dizzy and fall down. Then its upto your mercy. Either kill it or just throw 'em out of your house.
