There is always a mobilization date within the department..So actually the department decide...( I guess about 1.5 months from the date of sending your medical..you will be in Doha..)
Along with the medical you will be asked to submit your passport copies..your photographs etc...
Arranging a Visa is not a major hassle for QP..however as I said above its an issue of your mobilization date...

IT..Sounds interesting...This is the first time I've heard QP is hiring a female from India directly and offering a visa (Generally they prefer local hire of females on husbands'/Father's Visa)...You must be really talented...Welcome to Doha...Your offer is in line what has been offered to people hired from India..
