It is like convicting someone for a crime because he looks like a criminal.

I just think it is weird that a whole load of people are willing to subject themselves to a pretty strict regime based on basic circumstantial evidence.

I mean the prophet being illiterate. Ok maybe but if he was don't you think that there is a chance someone might have helped him? Just a chance? What proof is there that someone didn't? I mean you have to admit that there seems to be plenty of scope for not believing? It is not as if it is an open and shut case really is it?

And please don't assume that just because I disagree with you I am not open to new ideas. I am very open to them and as soon as you bring me some decent proof other than "it is a miracle" then I promise I will change my mind.

I am all too keen to believe in an afterlife, so much more pleasant sounding than just dying and the lights going off.
