I am really sorry for what happened to you and you and all of the other members should know something, the real estate agents are hopless when it comes to the mainenance as it is not their job unless they manage the property.

My only advice is to threaten the property manager that you will sue him and the landlord for the poor maintenance unless they fix everything or they cancel the contract, you have to have a loud voice here in order to get what you want.
