Christian missonary organization. Interesting that they promoted themsleves as just a mulitcultural organization geared toward bringing the world together through books. Also interesting that by far the largest section in Arabic (there being almost no Arabic books elsewhere in the store) was the Christian section. When I asked if they had a world religions section, the information girl told me that they didn't and that they were indeed a Christian organization; though the PR guy told me otherwise.

I have no philisophical problem with people presenting their ideas, but they should at least label it as such. By the way, what does a powerpoint presentation on the Jewish and Christian heritage of the Holy Land have to do with "bringing the world together." Perhaps rather than the slogan "Good books for everyone" it should be "The Good Book for Everyone." Muslims and Christians may disagree as to what the true message of Christ was, but they both certainly agree that he was not covert in his attempts to spread it. This kind of underhanded missionary effort is more likely to foster animosity than understanding.
