Well, the whole "who is going to work" is kind of a personal thing but I bet he won't last long as a "househusband" as it's not as easy as some guys think. lol

As for child care, I am hoping to hire live-in help. I pity the poor woman as my children make me crazy lol so I'm sure she'll be escaping out the window in the middle of the night *laugh* But this seems to be the best and most affordable solution. My children are older, they are 8 and almost 15. They mostly need a "supervisor" and someone to chauffer them, feed them and make them do homework. From what I've read it's best to use an agency to find help but there are also locals you can hire too.

As for not working, I have been self-employed for 8 years do whatever I want when I want, taking days off, hanging out taking 4 hour lunches, traveling while just bringing a laptop and working while away. this is the "culture" shock that I'm most worried about. I'm worried about working full-time after being free for 8 years. I know I can do it, I'm just a pessimist :)
