Go to www.doha-2006.com, there on the top right corner you'll see a section for volunteering. You can see what activities are available and you can apply online, but it might be better to go to the Asian Games volunteer center (which I think is on Salwa Road near Starbucks..) because then you can discuss with the people there and find which position is suitable for you.
